We are seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Burleigh Heads. This role is suited to a motivated chef looking to take the next step in their career, with a strong focus on kitchen operations, team leadership, and food quality.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
Supervise and support the kitchen team, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard.
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
Support menu planning and development.
Ensure smooth service, particularly during busy periods.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up.
Solid knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Passion for high-quality food and attention to detail.
