Reporting to the Clinical Director of Mental Health this position is available for a General Adult Psychiatrist with a full time contract being offered. The primary aim of the position being to clinically manage individuals with psychiatric illness, their families and carers.

This position is located approximately 20 minutes from the central business district of Perth and 30 minutes to the nearest beach and the Swan Valley vineyards. Perth is rated as amongst the top five most livable cities in the world. Perth has a wonderful outdoors lifestyle, It enjoys a Mediterranean climate with warm sunny days throughout summer and well into May. Activities and attractions include surfing, windsurfing, glorious beaches, fishing, camping and bushwalking. Perth has an active cultural scene with several theatres, a concert hall, an entertainment centre, an annual movie festival and summer arts season. Its multitude of restaurants reflects Perth’s multicultural community.

The ideal candidate would be interested in providing Psychiatry services to the General community in both inpatient and outpatient metropolitan settings.
