This hospital is a 120 bed acute care health facility on the eastern border of Sydney West. The community in the local government area consists of around 60,000 residents and is culturally diverse, a significant number of these people being from non-English speaking backgrounds. The hospital has a team of approximately 700 staff and volunteers providing high quality health care to support their needs. Health services provided include acute surgical, acute medical, obstetrics, dietetics, radiology, physiotherapy, speech pathology, consultant liason psychiatry, intensive and coronary care, operating suites, diabetes support, emergency department, social work and occupational therapy. Outpatient clinics are available and cover a range of specialties including physiotherapy, surgery, plastics and paediatrics.
