Job Description
Excellent opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Specialist to join NZ Hospital. The role of Specialist Emergency Medicine is fundamental to the success of the Emergency Services which aim to provide a high quality, cost effective, accessible and client centred service. This position will co-ordinate educational activities for the department and act in place of the Head of Department during times of absence.
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
- Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine
- Fellowship of the College of Emergency Medicine, UK and certificate of completion of training
- Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine
Situated on the west side of the north island of New Zealand, this District Health Board has undergone major redevelopment including new facilities for Emergency services, Cardiology, Renal Services, Mental Health and ICU.
