ABOUT THE COMPANY

Having experienced considerable growth since it was established in nearly 20 years ago, our client boasts a residential and commercial property portfolio of more than $500 million. Each development reflects the very best in design, planning and architecture.
As both the developer and the builder, they are able to control each phase of the development resulting in high quality, innovative and livable properties. They are currently in the design development stages of a prestige beach front 40 storey high rise due to begin construction mid 2008. For this and future projects, they require an experienced high rise Project Manager to join their team in a key role.

THE POSITION

In the position of Senior Project Manager, you will report to the Project Director and supervise a Site Manager, General Foreman and Contract Administrator as well as a full design team. You will be responsible for the project from concept design to completion. Responsibilities include programming, scheduling, negotiating and letting of contracts, managing quality and OH&S throughout the duration of the project. You will be responsible for ensuring the program and budgets are met.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDIATE

The person our client seeks will have at least 10 years high rise construction experience in Australia. You must posses an excellent knowledge of Australian building codes and construction methodology. Tertiary qualifications are preferred, and a proven track record of delivering high quality high rise projects on time and within budget is essential. A clear and unblemished work history is essential.
