Mechanical Design Engineer - Water
Job Description
Our Client is a specialist company in the engineering, design and execution of construction projects for turnkey facilities and water treatment plants. Their skills and specialist services make them the world’s leading water services company with a presence in almost 60 countries.
We are currently seeking applications from Junior and Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineers with recent experience in industrial water or wastewater treatment projects. The role will be based at our Clients’ Sydney office.
To be considered for this role, applicants must be Degree qualified and have at least 6 years work experience within the water industry. The position will require experience in design, specification, selection and layout of mechanical/process equipment (screens, cyclones, classifiers etc), materials handling equipment (conveyors etc), piping systems, pump systems and associated hydraulic calculations and analysis.
The successful candidate will ideally have exposure to projects in the local market and have experience in water/wastewater treatment projects from conception to completion. You will come from a Consultancy background, have the ability to work autonomously and demonstrate exceptional communication skills as you will be dealing with various clientele.
