Contract Mechanical Design Engineer – Water
Job Description
As a consultancy leading the way in Power and Water infrastructure, our Client has developed a reputation as a market leader and innovator. They are commonly employed as Project Management Consultants and Constructors, being involved from early inception through to commissioning, operation and maintenance.
We are currently seeking applications from Intermediate and Senior Mechanical Design Engineers on a contract basis for 4-6 months, based at our Clients’ Sydney office.
Applicants must be Degree qualified and have at least 4 years work experience within the water industry as a Mechanical Design Engineer. The position will require the mechanical design and specification of pump stations, piping systems and mechanical equipment. Performance verification testing, hydraulic calculations and analysis may also be required. A proven track record on local Water/Wastewater/Desalination projects from conception to completion will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, be capable of working autonomously and be ready to ‘hit the ground running’ as this role is immediately available.
