Professional and experienced contractors are required immediately by Design and Build.

Contract positions offer fantastic benefits including paid overtime, immediate start dates, potential for long-term or permanent employment, exposure to a variety of different firms i.e. large commercial practices v’s boutique design led studios and of course excellent hourly rates.

A selection of contract positions (but not all) are listed below:

Architect – up to $30 per hour + superannuation – 6 month contract with perm prospects
This role suits a Graduate with 4 + yrs exp or a Registered Architect. Be involved in from design development through to construction documentation. Projects include townhouses, boutique houses, aged-care and commercial. Mid sized firm in North Melbourne

Architectural Draftsperson – up to $28 per hour + superannuation – 3 month contract
Required to document high spec fitout projects. Small design led boutique firm in CBD. A high level of joinery detailing experience is required as well as proficiency using AutoCAD.

Interior Technician – up to $25 per hour + superannuation – 2 month contract
Required to convert design development drawings onto CAD as well as produce joinery details for retail fitouts. This position suits a fast CAD Operator who is happy to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Office location is South Melbourne.

Architectural Documenter x 2 – up to $35 per hour + superannuation – 15 month contract
A major Australian Developer needs Documenters to join their site based team in Geelong. This is the opportunity to work on a major commercial project within a highly respected Company. AutoCAD proficiency is essential as well as the willingness to work in Geelong for a 15 month period.
