Due to a strong growth in infrastructure for the public sector in Queensland my client is seeking a Principle Public Transport Planner to become a part of their team in Brisbane. As one of the market leaders for the Asia – Pacific they are recognised as a global leader in transportation services and pride themselves on the expertise and commitment of there employees in delivering leading edge integrated solutions for both road and rail sectors.

Within this vital role you will provide leadership to a team of enthusiastic engineers within the Transport Planning and Advisory Group on a number of aspects for Transport Planning such as facilities planning, public transport policy and route selection throughout the Queensland region.

Your main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Bid preparation
• Project Resourcing
• New Business Development ideas
• Exceptional team management skills
• Technical guidance to fellow employees

To be successful in this position you will possess a degree or equivalent in Transport Planning along with 15 plus years expertise working within the industry, 5 plus years local industry knowledge within the public sector for transport planning would be highly regarded.
