Our client is a large busy private practice with their head office based in Brisbane. With a rapidly expanding client base that is growing on reputation alone this practice is set for continued growth in a controlled way. Project types that are handled by this practice include: - Retail, health, education,commercial,sports and residential . They employ enthusiastic, talented staff with a unique blend of skills and experience and encourage them to provide reliable and practical advice. They have a reputation for meeting the challenges posed by large complex problems and for conducting business in an open and responsible manner.

Our client is currently recruiting for an Architect / Associate Designate for their North Queensland practice of 7 staff with a view to grow in 2007.

The successful candidate will be able to liaise with clients and run projects effectively and efficiently within the program and within the agreed fee.
You should also have the ability to motivate and build team spirit. Also ensuring that all technical procedures are adhered to and maintained to the required standard.
The successful applicant will be a fully Qualified registered Architect with 7-10 years Australian private practice experience.
You will be required to lead projects and support teams to prepare innovative solutions on a range of projects for private a public sector clients.

You will be a motivated individual with the experience and ability to work largely un-supervised. You will ideally have experience across a range of project types.

This is a position with the potential to progress to Director level or possibly directorship level role with profit share options. The position will be Townsville based with opportunities to work on projects over a wide area. Remuneration will be competitive.
